1.      Double Click on My Computer, You should see a screen like this one.

      Double Click on the ICON called Dial-Up Networking.  Go to step 2.


 

 2.      You should see a screen like this one. Click next Button.  If you do not, Double Click on the Icon Make New Connection.  Go to step 3.


 

3.      Type SPII in the top area, and make sure a modem is selected in the device area. Press the Next button. Go to step 4.
 

 4.      Enter the Area code and telephone number. Press Next button. Go to step 5.


 

5.      Press the Finish button. Go to step 6.

 


6.      You should see a screen like this one. Point at the Icon SPII, and click one time. This will highlight the icon. Got to step 7.

7.      Click on the word FILE one time, a menu will appear. Move your mouse down to the word PROPERTIES, Click One Time. Go to step 8.


 
8.      You will see a box like this. Click one time on the word SERVER TYPES. Go to step 9.

9.      Make your box matches the one below. Press the OK Button. Go to step 10.

 
10.  Double Click on the Icon SPII. Go to step 11.

11.  Type in your User name.  Type in your password. Now Press Connect.  Go to step 12.


 

12.  You are now connected to the Internet. You can now open INTERNET EXPLORER and start browsing.
