You need to have a check mark in "My Server requires Authentication"

Open Outlook Express, Click Tools, then Click Accounts

Select the Mail Tab, then Double Click on mail.spii.net

Select the Servers Tab.

Put a check mark in My server requires authentication.

Then Click the Settings button.

Select the Use same settings as my incoming mail server option.

Click OK
